An art + embodiment workshop exploring our relationships with water, space and sanctuary through creative mapping in community.

With Saddlescombe Farm as a living backdrop, we’ll explore inner and outer ecologies of care, memory and presence. Working with sounds of water, including hydrophone and field recordings from the South Downs and St Vincent and the Grenadines, we’ll move between somatic practice, listening, zinemaking, mark-making and storytelling as ways of remembering, mapping and re-imagining how we inhabit place and histories, and how we might rehearse collective sanctuary.

The Art & Nature Weekender is presented by Writing Our Legacy, with this programme supported through Downs to the Sea: Water in People’s Lives.
