Today we're exploring twists and spirals, culminating with a restorative backbend with a twist and inversion!

When we twist in a movement practice, it can offer us an opportunity to shift our energetic, physical, and maybe emotional state.

Twists can be energising as well as restorative, unwinding, un-doing, evolving and re-volving etc!

Twists and spirals can also help us to wring out tension and "find our centre". They hold creative, non-linear energy. Which can be a powerful and revolutionary force!

May this practice remind us that things don't have to be linear. We get to keep exploring.
