Yoga for Travel - 20 minute practice
Here’s a yoga for travel sequence, which is particularly useful if you have arrived at the end of a journey. Get settled, get grounded and feel delicious (hopefully!)
We’ll use movement explorations to help you adjust and land in your destination. If you’ve been on a plane, train, boat or automobile, we tend to be quite cramped up in transit and a little out of sync so our systems can take a while to settle, so we’ll try to create some space to release tension and find a sense of home in your body, wherever you are.
To be honest, even if you’re not going anywhere, this is a feel good and soothing practice to help you settle and get back into your body.
Expect a little bit of everything. Space for your hips, hamstrings, quads, ankles and shoulders with some twists, sidebends, backbends, inversions and folds. Nothing too crazy, just feelgood spacemaking explorations. And goof. Always goof darlings.
As always, take it at your own place, find what feels good for your body, and have a sweet adventure!
You will need: a trap/belt/piece of fabric.
There will be a mix of gentle flow, some stretching, some strengthening and some massage techniques which will hopefully help you feel yourself. Pun intended.
Really hope this one feels good!
Let me know where you’re practicing and how it goes!
Getting back into your body can be super helpful, if it’s possible for you to do so. Here are some ideas!
Cut. down. the. noise.
Here’s a tip.

The breath is oh so powerful and has such a huge impact on the way we feel. It can transform a very anxious situation to something more calming (ever been annoyed by someone who tells you to "just breathe" when you´re stressed out? There´s good reason for it!)
Trigger warning of sexual abuse.
To any Survivors, please exercise caution and self care.
No matter what expectations might be weighing heavy on you, or what demands are in need of your attention, perhaps this week you might entertain the idea of finding an anchor that helps you to centre? New yoga video, music and inspo inside >
Are you a banana? I´m a banana! Yes! Let´s be bananas together!
This practice is for my friends who struggle a little with balance, or who want to take balance to a different dimension. A bit like the Prodigy. But less 90s rave, more chill. Sound good?
Been a long day? If it's 8am or early evening, come and unwind with me!
This is my fave go-to de-stress and chill. I hope this gives you ample goodness and sweetness.
We are moving through an intense time energetically. It’s officially eclipse season and we’re approaching summer’s full bloom. So what kind of soup does that make?
Here’s a bumper blog post digging deeper into ways we can find balance during the summertime including an analysis of current (and future!) cosmic energies, the impact of the planets and our environment, Ayurveda resources and heaps of creative self care tips for you to support you to feel better.
I'm interested in what lies beneath the people pleasing.
What's our relationship like with ourselves?
Do we like ourselves and respect what we have to say?
Do we honour our voice and our perspective of the world?
Do we embrace our mission and our journey wholeheartedly?
Are we open to exploring and discovering and embracing all facets of ourselves?
