In this workshop on Sunday 12 July we will explore ideas around the theme REST.
How to make it accessible, and put it into practice by creating a place to land.
Cue a(nother) mini manifesto!
At this time, my energy has been focussed on checking in with what i want to centre. Which begins with the self, and continues into ever-widening circles encompassing those i ride with in this meat carcass upon this rock hurtling through space.
Here’s a brief breakdown as to how that looks (“saw things i imagined…” etc)
I’m so honoured to be in such wonderful company and part of a roundtable discussion this weekend, exploring the role of rest in times of turmoil and uprising.
Read MoreI've been speaking with lots of people lately who have been having headaches, so this one's for you if you're looking for relief from tension in the mind or the head...perhaps from overthinking, consuming a lot of information, or being anxious or stressed out. I've also been leaning on this one a lot of late and finding some relief, so wanted to share it with you in hope it serves you.

As is the imbalance of power.
We must learn to be responsible for our energy and tend to the inner revolution so we can really connect with what we think.
How we feel.
Process and digest.
And take action using the skills that are most effective and authentic to us.
I encourage you to find your safe places to land.
And if they don't exist, create them.
We need you to be as rested, nourished and cared for as possible.
Now more than ever. So take care of you.
There are so many ways to show up and participate in the movement. These resources have been doing the rounds on social media of late, and i wanted to also share the article Deepa wrote that accompanies them, as well as some questions for reflection to help you to discover what role is most aligned with your skills and heart!

I’m particularly looking at you, dear heart, who finds it hard to rest at all.
I believe we can find ways to work efficiently whilst at the same time incorporate ease. Ways to be more soft, more receptive, so we can appreciate what might be there to hold and support us.
Read MoreOften, the "core" implies "6 pack". And fine if that works for you. But i'm interested in something more holistic. The core as a central channel. A whole centre. All parts of us working together as one. As opposed to isolating and over-clenching some superficial muscle that has no real purpose on its own, but rather, is part of a wonderful interconnected powerful energy centre.
Read MoreWe can experience joy and grief in the same breath. The key is to allow for what is, in order to feel free. A WHOLEASS life, not a HALFASS one. Some call it wholehearted. I call it living your truth. Doing you. By any means necessary.
Read MoreFeeling connected and switching on our awareness to this "centre" is the focus for today. So, expect playful explorations in effort and ease!
Read MoreToday we're exploring twists and spirals, culminating with a restorative backbend with a twist and inversion!

Today i'm sharing a pep-me-up practice i turn to in times when i’m feeling a bit low in energy, maybe a bit sad, or like i need something to help feel a bit more uplifted.
A short and hopefully sweet morning practice to get into your body, create some ease and start your day.
