These unrealistic goals feel at the root of so much unneccessary tension around new year you know, the “new year, new me” bs. Do you feel me?
whatever you choose to celebrate (or not), may you feel free to protect your space, your health and your joy.

And i think younger Dionne would be amazed to still be out here 10 years later. And i won't sugar coat this neatly into a "happily ever after" line, because, there are still hard things in life. But i'm very glad of the experiences gained that teach me, i can get through them.
A side effect to the gathering of copious amounts of things i love, admire, respect and adore, is that i wonder if it’s too much. Replace “it’s” with “i’m”. Cause that’s at the root, right?
I wonder if i overwhelm with sharing. I- just- get- SO - enthusiastic about things.
